Set Up Your Wallet

You need a Bitcoin wallet address to receive your block reward (currently 3.125 BTC + fees = ~$200,000+!).

✅ Recommended Wallets

  • Hardware: Ledger, Trezor (most secure)
  • Software: Electrum, Sparrow, BlueWallet
  • Mobile: BlueWallet, Blockstream Green

❌ Never Use

  • Exchange addresses (Coinbase, Binance, etc.)
  • Custodial wallets where you don't control keys
  • Web wallets without backup/recovery
⚠️
CRITICAL: Your address must start with bc1, 3, or 1
Make sure your Bitcoin address is valid! Most modern wallets use bc1 (SegWit) addresses. If you use an exchange address, you may lose your block reward!

Configure Your Miner

Connect your miner to MineSolo Pools. Here's the configuration format:

Pool Configuration Template

Stratum Host: pools.minesolo.io
Stratum Port: 3333 or 3335 or 3337 (see pool choice above)
Username: YOUR_BTC_ADDRESS.worker
Password: x
⚠️
Common Configuration Mistakes
• Don't include "stratum+tcp://" in the host field
• Username is your FULL Bitcoin address (starts with bc1, 3, or 1)
• Password is literally just "x" (the letter x)
• Port must match your chosen pool (3333, 3335, or 3337)
5

Monitor Your Mining

Track your hashrate, shares, and stats on the MineSolo Pools dashboard.
